As a Treaty 8 signatory, West Moberly retains constitutionally protected rights to hunt, fish and trap across a vast Peace-Athabasca territory, and the Nation is an active member of the Treaty 8 Tribal Association.
As a Treaty 6 signatory, Alexander First Nation continues to assert and implement its treaty rights in governance, economic development and resource-management negotiations.
For this WPCA race season we have partnered with Chanse Vigen, World Champion chuckwagon driver to support his team.
This season, WPCA will see two horses celebrated by NAKODA Energy Services and our partnership with Alexander First Nation and West Moberly First Nation.
