INDIGENOUS ENGAGEMENT

At NAKODA Energy Services, Aboriginal engagement is a practice grounded in trust, respect, and shared purpose.

Our name, Nakoda, means ally—and that’s exactly how we show up.

OUR APPROACH

Being an ally means choosing action over intention—listening first, learning continuously, and standing by the people and communities we partner with. We commit to honouring their voices, respecting their traditions, and creating shared value in every initiative.

WE COMMIT TO…

  • Recognize & Respect – We honour Indigenous rights, culture, and deep ties to land and water.

  • Listen & Learn – Engagement begins early and continues through open, honest dialogue.

  • Measure & Report – We set clear goals and remain accountable and transparent.
